We are very fortunate to be able to offer our members the chance to listen to and see in action two very well known and esteemed members of our profession.

From the USA, Dr Dabney Ewin, an honorary member of BSMDH(S) Clinical Professor of Surgery and Psychiatry at Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans is concentrating on ‘Ideomotor Signalling.’ Dr Ewin is the Past President of both the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the American Board of Medical Hypnosis.  He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and a life member of the American Medical Association.  The Society is delighted to welcome  Dr Ewin back to Scotland, a country which he loves and one from whom his ancestors emigrated from many years ago.

From the University of Plymouth Prof. Irving Kirsch, Chair in Psychology School of Applied Psychosocial is taking us through ‘The Power of Suggestion and the Myth of Trance’. Early booking for the Spring Symposia is highly recommended as places are limited. With such well known and respected speakers places are likely to fill up quickly. Costs: Saturday/Sunday including day delegate and overnight accommodation and dinner on the Saturday £300.

Day delegates £200 for both days, or £90 for Saturday only, and £110 for Sunday only. (Optional dinner attendance is £25 per person). For those of you who wish to bring guests please contact us for special hotel rates.
